To Adopt a Guardian Adoption Program Pet Fill out the GAP Adopter Agreement (Adopter Profile). Contact and screen the prospective pet before bringing the pet into your home. Discuss with the Guardian the cost of the transfer. We suggest that at a minimum, the adopter donate $75.00 to Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary, or another animal welfare agency, to ensure good intentions with the current pet guardian.
